FAQ (Frequently Asked Question)
Q. When should my puppy come in for first groom?
A. It’s important to have your puppy groomed as soon as possible so they can get used to and learn to love the grooming experience. We recommend that they come in two weeks after their last set of vaccinations. We will use clipper on their first visit. We want your puppy's first visit to be in a relaxing environment getting used to sights, sounds and smells of the grooming salon. This will help future visits to be stress-free.
Q. How much does it cost for my pet to be groomed?
A. Pricing is based on breed, hair length, the condition of your pooch’s, skin, its temperament, age, and grooming history. We will give an exact cost at your pre-treatment consultation. However, please use the prices listed on our grooming page as pricing guide.
Q. How often Should I have my pet groomed?
A. A cycle occurs every 21 days. Every 21 days we have dead and dying cells on the surface of the skin that need to be removed with the bathing process. Monthly bath will reduce the shedding in dogs.
The length and type of your pet’s coat will determine how often your pet needs to be groomed. Single-Coat breed is recommended every 4- 8 week.
Q. How long will it take my pet to be groomed?
A. Approximate times for each small dog full groom would be 1 ½ hour. The time taken will depend on the condition and length of your pooch’s hair. We will contact you prior to the end of the treatment to advise what time you should pick up your pooch.
Q. Are my pets being crated during the grooming?
A. We avoid using crates. They usually chill out on a super comfy bed benefiting from essential oil therapy while their therapist prepares their treatment. However, your pet might be in crate if they don't get along with other pets.
Q. How often should my pet nails be trimmed?
A. Your pet’s nails should be trimmed monthly. You do not need an appointment, but we do recommend you call before you come to reduce your wait time.
Q. Can I stay and watch my pet being groomed?
A. As your pup loves you very much, they will wiggle and move trying to get close to you and that can be not safe while grooming. It is best to drop off your pup at their scheduled appointment time and then come back when the treatment is finished. We are happy to show our customers around the Spa so that they can see where their pooch will have their treatment. Also, please feel free to give us a text any time during the treatment to find out how your pup is doing.
Q. My female is on heat, Can I still bring her in for grooming?
A. No, you cannot due to intact male. It is also very messy to groom. If your dog is on heat, please reschedule when she’s not on heat.
Q. Cat Grooming
A. Regular brushing removes dead hair, dirt, and debris from your cat’s coat. It will also help to prevent mats before they become unmanageable. Regular brushing will also reduce hairballs, which build up in your cat’s digestive system—and ultimately end up on your carpet. In addition, you’ll cut down on shedding and the amount of time you spend getting cat hair off your furniture and clothes.
If you have a long-haired cat, she may benefit from having her fur clipped or in some cases, completely shaved to keep her cool, comfortable, and mat-free.
If your feline friend is particularly prickly or getting caught on your furniture, chances are her nails could use a trim. Regular physical activity and scratching behaviors wear down your cat’s nails naturally, but it’s a good idea to keep them trimmed for their own comfort—and yours.
Q. What kind of payment do you accept?
A. We accept Debit/Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Cash, or/and E-transfer.
